The Fairmont High School Class of 1949, who recently celebrated their 60th Class Reunion in Fairmont, received contributions totaling $1,260 at the reunion from class members to establish two scholarships with the Fairmont Dollars for Scholars chapter.  These scholarships will be given to two Fairmont High School graduates at the Dollars for Scholars Awards Night on May 19, 2010.  Applications for all Dollars for Scholars scholarships will be available in early January at the Fairmont High School counseling office or on the chapter’s website:  fairmontdollarsforscholars.org.
